Description
PLEASE READ THE DESCRPTION CAREFULLY. For your consideration is this very sweet package of a doll with a marked Tete Jumeau head. Her beautiful dress is probably not original but is antique. It is made of silk and has a few areas where the silk has become fragile and have resulted in holes. She wears a newer made slip which fits her perfectly and vintage pantalets which will need to have the waist elastic replaced. Her shoes are only marked with the number 11 and are appropriate in style and are also antique. Now as you can see from the pictures she has a gorgeous face with subtle and superb coloring. Her p/w sleep eyes are a soft brown and the sleeping mechanism works smoothly. Her mohair wig needs some styling but is probably her original wig as is her cork pate. The only issue with the bisque is a tiny firing crack to the back of the head and as I closely looked at it to take a detailed picture it does appear as though there is 1/2 line running from it as you can see from the last picture and as a result I am forced to LOWER HER PRICE! The line is not visile from the outside of the head and when I shine a light, it doesn't look like a hairline. Her chunky body is marked in blue Jumeau Medaille D'or Paris and it is in mostly original condition with some areas of repaint which was done a long time ago. One of her buttocks seems to have a smashed area but it looks to have been reinforced. She has those wonderful chunky arms with the straight wrists that I just love! PLEASE ask questions because I am proud of my 100% positive feedback and I want to maintain it!
