Sam was reborned from a brand new Josie kit, sculpt by Tasha Edenholm. He is made from soft vinyl. Sam is a stunningly realistic little baby boy, who will capture your heart forever. He has the most wonderful 3/4 limbs, this enables him to wear almost anything. He is so much fun to dress. He has been reborned over many, many days, to make him the most realistic, and true to life little boy. He has a beautiful complexion, with beautiful true to life newborn skintones . These have been achieved using layers of non fading Genesis heat set paints, to give him skin a life like baby appearance. Only high quality materials have been expertly used to create this beautiful baby boy. I use only CE approved fillings. All photographs are taken in natural daylight. Sam's hair has taken me many days and many hours to complete, he now has a beautiful head of rooted blonde kid mohair, which is so soft and silky to touch, it's beautiful, just like a real babies hair. It has been sealed inside, so it can be brushed straight, or dampened to make it wavy. Sam has also been given Micro-Rooted Eyelashes in the same brown colour as his hair, he has such a beautiiful baby expression, he has even got tiny veins. Sam now has a jointed new cloth body, that was made just for him. I do not put sand in any of my babies. Sam's body has been filled and weighted with a combination of tiny glass granules, and topped with soft fiberfill, his limbs, have also been carefully weighted, using the finest glass granules, and then topped with the softest fibre. He now has an realistic weight of a newborn baby approx 5Lb 5Oz. Sam little head is nicely weighted, so it needs to be supported when you pick him up. He feels exactly like a baby and loves to snuggle in your arms. Sam's nose has been gently opened to add depth and realism, and allow him to breathe. Both his nose and lips have been sealed, they now also have a moist look. Sam's nails are painted to look true to life with a slightly transluscent milk white tip and gentle blushing to the nail bed. Sam has been given a magnetic dummy. Care must be taken with these magnets around electronic devices. All my babies come from a non smoking enviroment. Please remember although Sam is made to my very high standards, he is an OOAK to be treasured, to be cared for, and passed down to your next generation. He is no longer a play doll.
