ED. of 3,000 pcs. Panda 50.  His number is 09260.  His chest tag is cardboard and reads: STEIFF - ORIGINAL - MARKE Panda Bar 1951 Replica. He was made in 1995 only, according to the Steiff Sortiment book, page 399. Then on the back of it it reads: All new material PA 55/MASS 73 Made in Germany Covering 65% wool 35% cotton.  He has his red ribbon around his neck as well. He has brown glass eyes with black pupils, an open mouth with peach and pink felt inside, and outlined with black threading, whiich continues up to his adorable nose which is also the same black heavy threading, embroidered.  His paw pads are a taupe or grayish colored felt.  His growler works GREAT-- it is VERY loud & robust!   Mr. Panda bear is just in such fabulous condition-- he has been stored, not displayed.  He also comes with a Steiff certificate as well.
