The bisque is perfect except one small blemish on forehead and left cheek, slight separation line where ears are applied. No cracks or hairlines. Excellent wig, paperweight eyes, cork pate, closed mouth. Composition body, straight wrists and separate ball joints indicating it's earlier doll. The clothing is not original except for the original French shoes but is in excellent condition, all appropriate for circa. This information was taken from an appraisal done on the doll in 2004 placing her value at $10,000-$11,000. My reserve is much less. This is a beautiful doll. She has brown eyes with red dots at the inside corners. I believe the cork pate is original. Stamped on her lower back is Jumeau/Paris and other writing I cannot decipher. Her underclothing is two, long half slips, one street-lenth full slip, an undershirt and pantalettes. The front neck of her dress is slightly faded. The back of her left heel and some of the joints show a little wear. She has been in a glass case since the 1960's. Prior to that I do not know. Shipping will depend on the location.
