Black ultra suede is used for her feet; paw pads and inner ears. Beatrix’s long lop ears are wired for cute posing and in the rear she has a white bunny tail. Many hours are spent carefully hand scissor sculpting her muzzle to reveal round cheeks and little chin, her mouth and nose are embroidered with black perle cotton. Beatrix’s sweet nose is then shaded and surrounded with nylon whiskers. She views the world through sparking black glass eyes set on white ultra suede for a “Please love me“ expression and her face is finished with layers of shading to add dimension. On the inside each piece is reinforced with cotton for strength and durability and all seams are double stitched, to last a lifetime of hugs.
