Description
Sue and Fred Narr spent the last 20 years of their life spending their children's inheritance on miniatures. They bought miniatures from all over the world. They often joked that when they were first married they bought their first davenport for $99. Forty years later they bought a davenport for $130. the size of a thumb. Sue won awards for many of her accomplishments in the miniature world. Sonnie Sue & Cherie, (their daughters), loved that their mother was enjoying herself. Since there mom and dad passed on they kept the dollhouse and roomboxes for years, but now it's time for them to downsize. I will be selling their whole dollhouse estate for them. We will put this auction up twice. If it doesn't sell we will list everything you see separately. Even now, we have other of her estate miniatures and room boxes up for auction, so be sure to view them. Check out my other items! I am grouping pictures by rooms and mostly what is in that room and will comment on only some of the items near their pictures. There are way too many items to give details on all. PICTURES SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS Large 9 room Glen Corie Villa, Lawbry House, with hot house and artist loft, featuring built ins, fireplaces, windows, doors & trims by Derick Perkins. Amazing electric lights with 3 transformers Around 200 pieces of expensive furniture, glass, china, dolls, figurines, baby's, toys, candelabra's, flowers, vases, food, pictures, mirrors, wicker, etc., etc. Most come signed by 70's & 80's known artists. PINK BEDROOM: Crystal chandeliers and crystal wall sconces are from the Happy Unicorn in Ohio. Blinking lighted fireplace and built in shelves, wall are Perkins. Tee for Tee off white couch is signed Garnet. Real Gold basket by Eugene Kupjack. The gold basket will come with a little book Kupjack catalogue. We have a silver basket by Kupjack on a seperate auction now. Check out my other items! Two Iris Vases by Karen Zorich. Goebel miniature on the bottom shelf. Next is a door that opens from the front of the dollhouse. NURSERY: The stunningly beautiful lacy 3 pc bassinet, lamp table with lighted lamp and the changing dresser are signed Penny Bolton. 1986. The inside of the drawers are papered with the most delightful lavender paper. Signatures of the babies are under them. The little girl on the horse must be sitting on her signature. I didn't want to take her off because she is hanging on to the horse handle with her hand. Her maker is Dianna George, (Newborn). The signature under her picture is for the horse. There are a lot of little things with that signature. LIVING ROOM The doll on the floor was Sue's Antique doll from Germany. She had the dress made in the 80's. Notice the lighted wall cabinet below. The Tiffany lamp was made for her by Floyd Aldrich, from a 24 karat gold cloisonne tassel pull. FIREPLACE ABOVE: has a real gold plate surround with an angels head in the middle. DINING ROOM: The table and 4 chairs below are all signed Elezibeth Heritage. She has it listed in her paperwork as inlayed. I know the flowers on it are painted and I think the inlay is the ovel 1/8" darker brown part that frames the center flowers and thus the grains of the wood are running different directions. Notice the wonderful candle holders of gold leaves. Most of the glass is whitmore. The lavender round fluted bowl with the white swan stopper is from Laurie L Walloran. The pickle and cruet casters are sterling silver. Most of the top pieces are Karen Zorich china. Other pieces I have tried to show signatures. The three plates pictured together are metal. This mirror and candelabra sconces are awesome. I sized one of the sconses to the right a little larger so you could see the detail of the metal flowers. There was a signature on the back of the mirror but was rubbed partway off. The vases with the most delicate painted little girls on them are a copy of the vintage Mary McGregory vases . The clock is gold plated. KITCHEN LITTLE GIRLS BEDROOM: The brass bed is from Brass Works and bed alone cost her almost $100.00, a pretty penny in her day. I supersized the bears pictures off to the right. Without the candle the two bears are 7/8". The bears reading a book are 3/8". The clown with baloons is 7/8". The other two clowns are both jointed. One is 1 1/8" and the other 7/8". TINY DOLLS FOR THE DOLLHOUSE DOLLS This may be a Bliss tiny dollhouse but I can't confirm. It certainly is Bliss papers. It is 2" wide, 1 1/2" deep and 2 1/2" tall not counting the wheels. THE DEN These little statues are around 1". Yes the top row is of Wizard of Ozz. Most of them are Geoble. The setee and chair above are signed Garnot A couple of Sue's pieces she bought was real jade. It is just that I don't know how to tell if it is real or not. REPLICA OF AN ANTIQUE STERIOSCOPE WITH SEVERAL CARDS The boy in the tree is called the Cherry Picker. He is seen picking cherries for his mom & dad. The piece is 1" tall. The spectacular mirror has a rams head on the bottom. The hot house is full of real wicker furniture, signed by Mac & Lee McCurley, plus many quality plants & containers. Notice the staircase and wall molding detail. It took them days to stain and glue the special trim. We are pretty sure the tiles were all laid seperately. LOVE THOSE GOLF SHOES The bathroom fixtures are real gold plated. The settee and 4 chairs cost her almost $400. I supersized a side of one to show the cutwork. The tree located at the corner of the house has blinking lights. CONDITION: Most the items in the house are in excellent condition. One doll of an older man has a cracked face. The gold rams head mirror has some flaws in the mirror. The house fence is broken off in two (3 & 4") places and a couple of places it is broken but still attached. ELECTRICITY: The house has been in a garage for 4 years and lost some lights that had wires towards the top of the house. I put in another whole circuit to recoop most of the lights but lost some of the plug ins. I didn't want to ruin the wall paper. Even in the garage the house was blanket wrapped and dust free and stayed in excellent condition. SHIPPING: You can pick up for free. I can deliver for $500. or under if close enough to Riverside, Calif. Or it can be freighted for $600.00 or LESS (depending on destination) while smalls are shipped with UPS or USPS. If freighted and it costs more, we will cover the extra. Insurance is required. No International sale on the dollhouse: I WILL FREIGHT THIS DOLLHOUSE TO THE MAINLAND STATES ONLY. If it doesn't sell as a whole and I put up individual items, I will ship smalls to other countries. PAYMENT: $18,500.00 is a lot of money. You may use paypal or a check if you have excellent feedback of 100 or more and have been an ebay member for over a year with excellent history, otherwise I would like it to be wire transferred into my bank.
