redbridge Store Antique Steiff 12 inch tall (from head to toe) Jointed Mohair Teddy bear with a blank tag in his ear. This bear is direct from a southeastern Massachusetts doll collection. The original owner is long deceased and this item and others are being dispersed by the family for sale. We are general line dealers who have been commissioned to sell these items on ebay. This bear though certainly loved, is in a very good state. Some visible wear to the face and top of the right side of the head. We can e-mail better photos to anyone interested. Ebays picture service leaves a lot to be desired so.....don't hesitate. The pads seem to be in exceptionally good condition. The growler is not functioning. The bear makes a sort of crunchy sound when squeezed (unsure of the stuffing). The gentleman selling this family estate did have an appraiser from a very well known large east coast auction house tell them this bear (and another we may be listing later) was valuable (yes they did want to sell it at there auction house).Lucky for us, they decided to stay local.
