Hays' Description This adorable cut out book, measuring 13” by 9”, is entitled “The Nursery Favorites,” and was designed by Margaret G. Hays, a sister of Grace Drayton,  the originator of the famous Dolly Dingle doll.  M.A. Donohue Co. published this charming book in 1913.<p>   It consists of 4 sheets of 5” paper dolls, each doll and her clothes representing a different flower—Poppy, Pansy, Forget-Me-Not, and Daisy.<p>   The binding has been neatly taped, there are small scuff marks and edge wear on the front cover, and the white border on the back cover has some brown spotting and one faint stain.  Also the cheap paper used for the inside pages is age browned, and one inside page is loose.  But there are no tears or stains other than the one mentioned above.  For its 95-year age, it is in very good condition.   This book would be a nice addition to a Rose O’Neil collection.   Place a Bid!
