The longish soft gold mohair needs fluffing – only 5-10% is missing. The twisted floss horizontal nose and mouth are original as are the glass eyes. There are no claws; the right arm shows the excelsior stuffing the size of a nickel (see photo); the pads are recovered. This teddy has always been in a smoke free home. Being a published bear make him a celebrity: See the exact picture (page 119) of teddy in the book that I wrote in 1984, "Teddy Bears & Steiff Animals."
