Ally comes with her original box, which has normal wear and tear ( bends, rips, wrinkles, some missing paper). However, it is very nice to have the box for all the graphics and information it provides, especially the front velcro closure flap that opens to reveal Ally (when in the box), and is shown in photo 2. The copyright info says: Amazing Ally is a trademark of Playmates Toys Inc. and gives a date of 1999. The box also indicates that Ally is for Ages 5 and up and has a stock number of 98101.  One side of the box lists contents as follows: purple tights, purple jumper, tea party dress shoes, 4 barrettes (there is only one), purple striped headband, hair brush, tea pot, tea cup, tea cake, tea party adventure ware pack (this is missing), adventure ware book with 8 set-up book cards, 4 tea party book cards, and just for you: butterfly charm necklace (missing), tea cup, and 2 barrettes (missing).  Her hair is in beautiful condition but is not straight across in the back. I don't know if this is because both sides are pulled up slightly when she has a different hair style or if someone cut it. Either way, her hair has enough length to straighten it out, if preferred. Ally has a line crack to her purple wristwatch/bracelet on the surface of the strap that is not interferring with her operation. I doesn't go through the strap, only surface. She could use only a light surface cleaning as she has some dust/dirt, some very small marks , and a few lines on the bottom of her feet and legs that probably will for the most part clean up.     I took the batteries out of Ally and replaced them with new batteries. When you move the button or lever in the back of the doll to the on position, Ally says: "I need my pack". Ally's lips move when she talks. Playmates Toys Inc. has a website and customer service number. I tried to find out if the missing items, specifically the pack, can be replaced.
