ANTIQUE GERMAN BISQUE 14” FLORADORA, AS IS This lovely doll has antique bisque shoulder head attached to modern replacement body with bisque arms and legs. She is being offered “as is” because her right brown glass eye is missing (broken). I’ve lifted the right side of her pate and stuffed the head so the eyes don’t rock during shipping. The wig is replacement, synthetic, size 8 – it is much longer than it looks because it is rolled under. The face is beautifully painted – she has very long single stroke eyebrows, molded eyelids and individually painted eyelashes. Her cheeks are nicely blushed, there are dots in her nostrils and her coral open mouth reveals upper teeth. She has beautifully molded ears and the back of the shoulder plate is incised in script Floradora, A. 4/0 M. (Armand Marseille) Made in Germany. The shoulder plate is attached to the soft stuffed body. Her bisque arms have cupped hands and pink finger-nails. Her bisque legs wear high boots with six buttons. She wears long pantalettes with lace trim; embroidered full slip with scallop edge and her dress is Williamsburg blue velvet with lace trim at the collar, cuffs and hem. She is certainly worth the effort to repair or if not, she may be used for parts. RETURN POLICY: Most items offered have been previously owned and may show signs of normal wear and tear.
