Each piece is sculpted entirely by hand by the artist so it is the only one of its kind in the entire world. the mermaid is equivalent to 7 1/2" high sculpt. This wild little lady is sculpted with every detail including fingernails and fine hair eyelashes. Her piercing bright green eyes are handmade by the artist. They reflect much light for added depth and realism. Her wild hair is black tibetan lamb. her silvery blue tail has been reinforced so it is not as delicate as it appears.The seahorse was modeled after the magnificent Andalusian breed. I have given him blue green eyes and fringed them with delicate white lashes. He is quite large and proud with a thick arched neck. His beautiful tail is very sturdy and reinforced. Even the underside of his hooves are detailed!Due to the dynamic pose and the mermaid grasping the seahorses mane, the pair are permanently attached to one another. Their coral base was designed to fit them perfectly. They slide on and off of a brass rod that secures them to the base. They will be removed for shipping.This is a fairly large and stunning piece.
