This lovely dolls house is made in wood and hardwood. I think that it is possibly a Triang but it does not have a label and I cannot be sure. Covered inside and outside in original papers and also wired for electricity, it has a small light bulb in each room; the switch is on the base of the chimney. Measuring overall 15 inches deep, 24 inches in width and 24 inches in height. All in original condition with the majority of doors and windows in place ( there is just the front door and one external window missing). In good original and tidy condition, although it is not pristine, (the roof is a little bowed), but it has lots of potential. The design is typical of a cottage, with a single gabled pitched roof with four basic square rooms to either side of a central hallway and landing, plus a wooden staircase. It looks to be around 1960s. The windows are plastic.  It would make a perfect project for restoration and has that special charm which is typical of these vintage designs. As is the case with many of our items this came from a house clearance and we need to find a good home for it. It just needs someone with foresight and to see the potential and put it to use. We would be pleased to see it preserved and have therefore priced it at an economical value for money price. This piece can be picked up from our premises, or we could post it to you (UK only) for £15.
