I don't know if any of you that are watching this doll happened to see the pair of 4 1/2" bisque googly eyed dolls exactly like this one (but smaller) sell in the Morphy's auction today. They brought 3750.00 plus buyer premium of 20% for a total of 4500.00. So, I really feel this doll is a great buy at this price. WOW ~ what a rarity to find a little all bisque googly that was made for the French market with original label on doll and box. This all bisque googly is attributed to Kestner and she is approx. 5 1/2" tall. Wonderful little chunky body and the sweetest little watermelon smile. She is all original and has a label on her back that matches the label on the box. It says "Jouets et Poupees, Rue de Bourg 23, Lausanne". Box top also has "Poupees Martin Lausanne". She has wonderful intaglio eyes glancing ot her right. Adorable little dress and matching hair bow. She does not have any panties. She is loosely strung ~ I have displayed her in her box, so that never bothered me. She could be a real prize in your googly collection. Please look over pictures carefully and ask any questions you may have. Sorry I have to price her high ~ I have quite a bit invested in her. Check out my other antique doll auctions this week.
