Description   Don't know where to begin to describe this wonderful doll.  She is an early doll ~ I believe she may be an early Simon Halbig made for the French market as she has a look that is similar to a few of the  Simon Halbig 719's that I have owned.   Or she could be a French doll as she does have the open mouth with 6 upper teeth that are much more associated to the antique french dolls.  Regardless, she is a beauty and has quite a presence!   I have uploaded lots of pictures for you to look at so you will know exactly what you are bidding on.  On we go.....She is approximately 26" tall and is on an early straight-wristed composition and wood body.    Gorgeous face with excellent painting of her features.  Dark feathered flat eyebrows, gorgeous lashes surrounding her gorgeous large blue paperweight eyes and lovely open mouth with 6 tiny teeth on the top.  One tiny dot of missing blush on the left side of her face.   Head does have heavy side factory molding seams.  She is unmarked on the back of her head except for the number 13 at the bottom of her neck area and a slash line at the top.  There is a large white area on the back of her head that is from the factory, missing paint area.   I have black lit the head and she does not have any hairlines, restorations or other problems.  The inside does have factory flaws in that some areas do have excess bisque.   She is on her original early straight-wristed body ~ It has wood upper arms and upper legs.  I believe the lower arms and legs are composition.  Body retains most of original finish, lower legs have old repaint on them.  There is definately age-related wear to the body, see my pictures below for detail. Original mohair wig.  There is tape residue on her upper head in the picture without the wig, not a flaw.   Absolutely devine antique dress with matching undergarments. Dress is loaded with lace inserts.  A few small holes in body of dress, major damage to the right armsleeve where it has shredding.  Still displays beautifully on her. And, underslip matches her dress. Estate said these were the clothes that the original family had put on her way back in the late 1890's.    She has an additional half slip and pantaloons that were added.  Orignal shoes, one tie missing and the other tie is probably replaced.  Stockings were replaced.  And lastly, the gorgeous confection of lace, ribbons and netlace ruffles bonnet that adorns her head - it is beautiful!  Fragile, but displays well and has a large ribbon rosette flower on one side. I work very hard to ensure that I receive positive feedback and high DSR's from my buyers.  PLEASE do not leave me a negative or neutral (which counts as a negative now and why I am no longer 100%) without contacting me to try to resolve whatever issue you may have.  My goal is to receive and maintain the highest detailed seller ratings (5 on the DSR scale).   Since actual shipping cost and time is outside of my control I expect to receive 5's on these items and strive to receive 5's on the remaining criteria.
