Description
These little "Just Me" dolls are the cutes ever! This is a German character doll made by Armand Marseille #310. This doll is 9 1/2" tall with beautiful facial coloring. Her paint is fired-in. Perfect bisque socket head, mohair blonde wig, glass blue sleep eyes glancing to the side, closed mouth, original 5 pc. composition body. The legs need to be restrung because the feet want to cross over each other. Dates around 1925. She is fully marked on the back of her head (see photo). There are no chips, cracks or hairlines to her head. There is a teeny tiny rub on her check (hardly noticable but had to mention). There is also a small dark speck on her left cheek. Photos make it look worse than it is. You can hardly see this and I wasn't going to mention it because it is so minut. I also should have cleaned her eyes for her photo shoot, but I didn't. There are no eye flakes. Her face is just beautiful! Her body has a small repair at the top of her right leg and a small repair to the inside of her right hand (see photos). These repairs are not bad at all. Nice blushing on her knees. No repaint to the body except on the top of the repairs. There is also a crack going around her right leg (see photo). That can easily be filled in by someone who knows what they are doing. Overall, she is wonderful! She wears an old vintage dress including one piece undies; old shoes and socks.
