Bidders / Buyers , for not having problems after auction ends you have to read carefully payments instructions on bottom of this page , thank you ! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 26" I offer a pretty nice French bebe Jumeau with closed mouth and blue paperweight eyes..... this doll has unfortunately a damage on head and my asking price is 60 % less than the same doll without damage... The doll would have probably more value if somebody could do a restoration from outside , but her head is still original attached on the original coil on torso , that's the reason the cracks are just fixed and stabilized.... This Jumeau doll is made in the 1890's and she has the erased Jumeau stamp , sold by Jumeau to the department stores , also bodies of these dolls were not stamped.... Great presentation in a Jumeau REPRODUCTION flower dress... her socket head has a fine pale quality bisque, good modeling , friendly expression with blue paperweight eyes , painted eye lashes , fine feathered eye brows , closed mouth with accented lips and nostrils , fully exposed and pierced ears , original cork pate and a new, 100 % natural mohair wig, long- tailed blonde hair... head condition : the white spot you can see on picture is an omperfection , it's not a damage.... damage is good to see too : one crack is on forehead, starts at the crown left side and ends at the left eye , the second cracks in back of head starts at the crown and make a halfmoon to the left ear, travelling over the ear lobe and ends at the outside corner on left eye , notice : head was NEVER in Pieces , there are just cracks and reglued for protecting from inside There are NO other damage just what I have mention with the cracks.... Fully jointed Jumeau body in good condition , original finish , finish color is little reddish just how they were made at the time for this late Jumeau doll , thick j Jumeau hands ! doll wears three piece of old undergarments , I mentioned the REpro Jumeau dress with the little red flowers , handknitted white cotton socks and old oil-cloth shoes, one is little damaged I guarantee my description and I am sure I offer her for a correct price .... if somebody is looking for a larger Jumeau with closed mouth and accepting a damage on head ....
