General MacArthur, for those of you who may be interested, was a distinguished leader of the Pacific Theatre of War during the World War II. He had an interesting personality and was always impeccable dressed, even in battle. Parents bought this doll for both boys and girls, and it helped give confidence to the home front during some of the dark and trying times. He is in excellent condition, with a repair to the wrist. The shoes/boots are no longer with him. One of the socks has been replaced. The outfit is all original and in great shape, with normal age wear. He is jointed at the legs and arms and stands 18" tall. Excellent collectors piece! Please view photos, as they are a big part of the description, and ask all questions before bidding.
