Birdie and the orphan Kit was created in 2007 and is one of a kind. Birdie is 20 inches tall, crafted from a dark honey mohair. Birdie is fully jointed and loosely stuffed with excelsior and some poly. The paw pads are shaved brown mohair and the eyes are big, black glass. Anne has perfected the art of making a bear look well-loved and Birdie is a great example of her artistry.
