Description   Hi, my name is Lyn Syme.   My grandchildren call me 'Teddy Nan'!!! I live in Perth in the beautiful State of Western Australia   For 15 years I was in the business of selling  Teddy Bear Making Supplies with the main emphasis on  organizing and conducting workshops by  award winning overseas, interstate and local teddy bear artists, who each had their own unique technique and creative ability in design and use of various textiles be it mohair or leather to recycled mink or other mediums.   Some of the artists I promoted  where:  Omi's Bear/Australia,    Mark Rodrigues/Singapore,    Janet Clarke/UK,    Linda Benson/Australia,     Loris Hancock/Australia,    Jennifer Laing/Australia (now USA),   Sharon Grace/New Zealand,  Sonya Heron/Australia and many more.                During this time I was fortunate to collect many irresistable limited edition and one of a kind artist bears, along with sample bears for patterns and workshops.These where then added to my already extensive collection, including  beautiful pre loved antique teddy bears plus dolls and  many things old and antique.     As I am now retired and space is at a premium, it is time for me to down size my collection and let someone else enjoy a little something from Teddy Nan's Treasures.   I hope that someone is you.   *************   INTRODUCING  "ANNIE GIRL " A 55cm Cloth Doll by Sonya Heron - Australia.   Where do I begin, when talking about an Artist such as Sonya ?? In the past, I have been very fortunate, and had great pleasure in promoting leading Teddy Bear Artists, many of whom have been our own  Award Winning Australian Artists. Sonya Heron is one of these, with her unique ability and eye for detail coming through in all her sought after creations.   "Annie Girl" is a good example of Sonya's artistic flair, and has been part of my collection for 9 years, along with her companion, "Good Golly" - who by the way is a separate auction piece. Annie is a 55cm cloth doll, with hand painted features . Her clothes are all original with Sonya's fabulous touch of a little hand embroidery, embellishments, ageing (with a tear in her dress )and finally the staining and antiquing of doll and clothes. I have included a photo of Annie and Good Golly together, however please note, that they are separate auction pieces. The photo was to show you how they compliment one another.
