Welcome to my auction THE ARTIST All my life I have expressed myself artistically - through oil painting, sketching, photography, poetry and fiction writng. I've always loved art!! Then I discovered the wonderful art of reborning!! And realised I could combine two of the things I love the most - babies and art! I am now in my 3rd year of reborning and have developed my own unique techniques to enhance the realism of my babies. All my artworks are created in my lovely home studio in sunny Western Australia. ARTWORK GUARANTEE I strive for excellence in my artwork, and spend hours on each baby, making them as lifelike as possible. I stand 100% behind the workmanship and quality of my babies. Bidders identity remains private - anyone can bid. I'm thrilled to offer for adoption this adorable little girl Annabelle!! As an artist, I take great joy in creating as life-like a reborn as possible, I spend many hours creating a very detailed skintone for all my babies. It is an absolute pleasure to finally see the little baby I've created at the end of this process. I'm sure you'll agree Annabella is such a sweet baby girl! This precious little girl has been created from the sold out limited edition sculpt "Sweet Pea", scuplted by the very talented artist Wendy Dickenson - this is such a realistic scuplt to work with, and was such a delightful baby to bring to life!! All photgraphs are taken in different lighting conditions to reflect the variations in baby's skintones - Please be patient as they load..the wait is well worth it! I only ever use the highest quality products on my babies, and Annabella was created using my own special blend of Genesis artist paints. These paints have been permanently heat set, and will not fade, chip or rub off. Annabella is now a collectable family heirloom to be cherished and passed from generation to generation. Little Annabella's life-like complexion is accomplished through the use of many, almost translucent layers of paint - If you look closely at the photo's you can see the faint veining and capillaries through her skin! I worked from photographs of real babies when creating Annabella. This little girl is so precious, and looks just like a real baby!! For added realism, Annabella's nose has been gently opened and backed with dark felt, making her a "breather". I've given Annabella light brown quality Australian mohair that has been hand rooted. This process literally takes hours, but gives such a realistic look that it's well worth it. Annabella's hair has been sealed from the inside and can be dampened and gently styled - it is so soft and beautiful! I’ve framed her precious face with handpainted “barely there” eyebrows. Annabella's tiny nails have that freshly clipped baby look and have been sealed and permanently set. I give a lot of time and attention to finer details when I create my babies. I love this part of the process,as it is when I can truly bring the baby to life, making him or her a life-like and unique work of art. The attention I give to skin detail means that up close, Annabella looks so realistic you have to almost touch her - just to be sure :-) Annabella's 3/4 limbs have been realistically weighted using poly pellets and soft fibre-fill, as has her soft cloth body. She is very flexible and poseable and her body is so soft and cuddly. Annabella is a very realistic newborn weight and feels very much like a real infant when held. Her head has also been proportionately weighted thus needs support when you pick her up - as you would with any baby. Annabella has a magnetic pacifier,which utilises a very strong magnet, so care must be taken around computers and other electronic devices. People with pacemakers should not hold Annabella. It has been an absolute pleasure to create this precious girl!! Annabella has turned out even more beautiful than I imagined and is just perfect! I'm sure her new Mummy will be totally satisfied with the quality and realism of her. I do hope you've enjoyed looking at her pictures, she is absolutely exquisite!
